Wald Habets is a PhD student at Hasselt University, where he is engaged in research focused on the development of Persuasive and Personalized Recommender systems. His primary area of study centers on leveraging technology to facilitate healthier choices in regards to nutrition and physical activity, with the ultimate goal of inducing long-term behavior change. Wald strives to identify innovative solutions that can positively impact individuals' lives. Outside of his academic pursuits, he enjoys a variety of hobbies including hiking, crafting, video games, and playing bass guitar. Additionally, he is deeply invested in tabletop gaming, particularly in the world of Dungeons & Dragons, and is actively developing his own fictional world, Tylnehard, which can be explored in greater detail at tylnehard.eu.
